Articles We Like

  • We look for articles describing activities that toddlers, preschoolers, children, teens, adults, senior adults can do themselves at home, indoor, outdoor, and anywhere they are — backyard, swimming pool, park, beach, lake, mountain, train, airplane, hotel, etc.
  • Articles can also be about activities related to a holiday, season, or theme such as Halloween, Christmas, father's day, summer, fall, winter, rainy day, green and sustainable, party, etc.
  • Of special interest to us are activities developed for children and adults with disabilities.

Editorial Guidelines

We prefer articles focused on a single activity.

  • Search our website to make sure you do not write for an activity or theme we already have covered. Of course, if you feel you can write something better, do not hesitate!
  • Article length: articles should be around 100 words at the minimum.
  • Start an article with a short summary paragraph. It will be listed on search results.
  • Instructions should be clear and concise. Use bullet points or step numbers for these.
  • Use correct grammar and spelling.
  • Do not overuse keywords, it is detrimental to the reading experience.
  • Long articles are difficult to read on a web page. Help our readers by breaking your text in several sections and by using section and paragraph heads.
