Providing the kids at your Christmas party with games to play is a sure way to keep them happy and amused. Here are three fun games that children will enjoy playing.
Holiday Anagram
A anagram game featuring Christmas words will get kids thinking and being creative.
- For this game all you need is some paper and pens.
- You can divide kids into groups or they can work on their own. Make sure to give them a certain amount of time to think of words.
- Instruct them that they must come up with as many words as possible that can be made out of the word you give them.
- There are a lot of fun Christmas words you can use such as Santa, snowman, present, candy cane, and Christmas tree.
- The kid with the most words in the end wins.
Christmas Tree Hunt
- For this game you will need several small Christmas trees — these can be made easily by spray painting pinecones green and adding some sparkles to them.
- Before your game begins have one kid hide all of the trees
- Next give all of the other kids pillowcases or bags to put the trees they find in and allow them to hunt for the trees.
- The kid who finds the most trees then gets to hide them later, and the game can continue.
Pin the Nose on Rudolph
This game is hilarious and exciting to play at a Christmas party.
- You will need a big picture of Rudolph — you can buy a decoration that is Rudolph or you can print a large Rudolph image off of the computer. If you are feeling crafty you can draw a large Rudolph on a piece of poster board.
- You will also need a scarf for a blindfold and several small oval red noses cut out from red paper. Double sided tape can be used to stick the noses to the picture.
- Everyone should be blindfolded and spun around before they try to pin the nose on the Rudolph.
- Whoever puts a red nose on top of Rudolph’s nose (or as close as possible) is the winner.
