How To Make Decorative Soap Gifts
Decorative soaps are always a nice birthday or holiday gift because they are one of those luxuries you never buy for yourself, but it is always nice to receive. However, buying decorative soaps to give as gifts can get expensive, but you can make your own!
What You Need
- Plain blocks of soap
- Non-toxic craft glue
- Paint brush
- Images or pictures to stick onto the soaps. They can be of yourself, or theme-based to reflect your gift’s purpose.
To Make a Decorative Soap
- Cover the back of the image with the glue and stick it to a block of soap.
- Paint a layer of glue over the image and the top of the soap.
- Wait for the first coat to dry and then apply a second coat, making sure you cover the image completely in glue.
- Continue applying glue in this way until you have at least five layers.
