What We’re About

Like many parents today who use the Internet as their preferred resource to find information, we have spent countless hours online to find activity programs for our children. The process is just grueling and totally frustrating. Many providers don’t have a Web site. And when they do, comparing their programs against others is challenging because the information for each is presented differently.

We knew that it didn’t have to be so hard. That’s why we launched ActivityQuest.com.

Phase 1—Introducing a better way to publish activity programs online

In January 29, 2007, we introduced our Activity Catalog Builder system that allows activity providers to easily create, edit, and publish their own online activity program catalogs. Our catalog and web site design services were added in October 2007.

Phase 2—Bringing program participants and providers together in one place

At some point in the future—that is when enough activity providers will have subscribed to our Activity Catalog Builder tool—we are planning to add a searchable online directory of these catalogs. By doing so, parents and others will then be able to easily search and compare activity programs without ever leaving ActivityQuest.com!

Supporting providers of free activity programs

There are many organizations trying to provide free programs to families in need—and they are doing all they can on a limited budget.

Their activity programs provide an important service in our communities. After school programs have been proven to help working families by keeping millions of children safely off the streets while contributing to raising children’s self-confidence as well as academic performance. Literacy and lifelong learning programs are essential for adults to improve their skills and successfully live and work in our knowledge-focused society.

Adding more features and services

Our goal is for ActivityQuest.com to serve the needs of online families and adults looking for activity program information, and to support activity providers’ online communication.
